1. Your account
Pavoot is invite-only. Your organization invites you, sets your role and can remove your access at any time. Keep your login details and any API keys secure, and let us know at support@pavoot.com if you think someone else has used your account.
2. Using Pavoot responsibly
Pavoot helps you bring the right people together. Please use it in a way that respects them.
- Finding people. Use Pavoot's search and suggestions to find guests for real business events. Don't resell or hand over the information to others, and don't use it for purposes unrelated to your events.
- Outreach. When you send invitations, messages or follow-ups through Pavoot, you are the sender. Follow the laws that apply to you. For email, that includes CAN-SPAM in the US and the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in Europe; under the GDPR, whatever the channel, that includes telling people who you are, where you got their details and how to opt out, no later than your first message. For text messages, that includes rules requiring a person's prior consent, such as the TCPA in the US. When someone asks not to be contacted again, respect it promptly.
- Data you add. Only upload contacts, guest lists and files, such as exported connection lists, that you are allowed to use. Other members of your organization can see what you upload.
- Guests. If you collect information from guests, for example through a registration form, tell them how you will use it and obtain any consent you need, for example for photos.
- Recordings and notes. Voice memos are for dictating your own notes. If you record a conversation with someone else, get their consent wherever the law requires it. Keep notes professional, and don't record sensitive details about people, such as their health, religion or political views, unless you have a lawful reason to.
- No misuse. Don't use Pavoot for anything unlawful, don't try to access other organizations' data, and don't overload, scrape or disrupt the service. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying structure of the software, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.
3. Events and ticket payments
You and your organization are responsible for your events, including the event information, ticket prices, refunds and what happens on the day. If you sell tickets through Pavoot, payments are processed by Stripe, and Stripe's terms apply to the payment. Payments are collected through Pavoot's Stripe account and paid out to your organization as agreed in your Order Form. Refund decisions are yours; Pavoot processes approved refunds through Stripe.
4. Connected services
When you connect a service such as Gmail, Outlook, Luma, HubSpot or Salesforce, you allow Pavoot to access it for the features you use, and that service's own terms continue to apply. You can disconnect it at any time. API keys give access to your organization's data, so share them only with people and tools you trust.
LinkedIn outreach. Where your organization has it turned on, you can connect your own LinkedIn account and have Pavoot send connection requests and messages you approve from it. Your use of your LinkedIn account remains subject to LinkedIn's own terms, and you are responsible for it. Pavoot is not responsible for actions LinkedIn takes on your account. You are the sender of these messages, and section 2 applies to them.
5. Usage limits
Some actions have daily limits, for example finding contact details, sending emails and text messages, and generating images. Limits reset daily. Your organization's admin can ask us to raise them.
6. AI features
Pavoot includes AI features, such as drafting invitations and follow-ups, suggesting guests, summarizing notes and transcribing voice memos. They are provided for assistance only and are based on probabilistic models, so their output can be incomplete or wrong. Review drafts, suggestions and summaries before relying on them or sending them. The providers involved are listed in our Platform Privacy Policy.
7. Content and ownership
The events, guest lists, contacts, notes and other content created in your organization's workspace belong to your organization. You allow Pavoot to host and process that content only to provide the platform, as described in our Platform Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
Pavoot retains all intellectual property rights in and to the platform and the underlying software. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Pavoot without any obligation to you.
8. The iPhone app and Apple
If you downloaded the Pavoot app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement governs your license to the app, and these Terms govern your use of the Pavoot service. Pavoot, not Apple, is responsible for the app, its content, support and maintenance, and any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
9. Availability and changes
Pavoot is provided as a cloud service through third-party infrastructure, and we provide support on a best-effort basis. We keep improving Pavoot, so features may change. We may update these Terms from time to time; if a change is material, we will tell you in the product or by email before it applies.
10. Suspension and ending use
We may suspend or restrict access that breaches these Terms or puts Pavoot, other users or other people at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and what you can do about it. You can stop using Pavoot at any time and delete your account as described in our Platform Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
Pavoot is provided to you as part of your organization's use of Pavoot, and your organization's contract governs liability between Pavoot and your organization. To the extent permitted by law, Pavoot is not liable to you for indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct or fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law where you live provides otherwise.
